    1) Why do you want to be a teacher?

    2) What is the weather like in Chile now?

    3) What animals live in your area?

    4) What do you do in your free time?

We can not wait to read your answers.

  4. Hi!

A movie of your class sounds great.

Well, trying to respond your questions, I could say I want to be a teacher because I like teaching students and make them know new things ( it's sounds fantastic to me).
About the second doubt, our weather is very cold in this time. I may say that it is freezing almost all the time and when it is mixed with wind, it is really intolerable.
    Animals...... mm....
Well, being honest in Punta Arenas there are a lot of homeless dogs and it has become a problem without solution.
But this a little problem if it is compared with the beautiful animals which live here, such as: cóndor, ñandú (I mean 'rhea'), penguins, puma which could be called 'cougar' or 'mountain lion', guanaco.

    Hope you write back...

    See you.

  5. Hi molly, and the whole class.
I´m glad to see you wrote to us.

First of all, my name is Luis and I´ll try to answer your questions in the best way. (As you could realize, I´m still improving my English)

I want to be a teacher in a near future, because I like to teach children and young people as well, at first I have to confess that I chose this career, mostly because of the language, but afterwards I realized that I really enjoy teaching.

Well, the weather is kind of weird in here, in this time is specially cold, at morning you can find frost all over the streets, is very slippery and a little bit dangerous at the same time, but we are used to it. Then we have a lot of rain, specially in the afternoons or evenings, and sometimes snow too.
But even though it is quite changeable, at least in my case, I wouldn´t change my city for anything in the world hahaha.

Talking about the fauna, there are a lot of kind of animals, as my classmate said, homeless dogs are very common in our streets, but there are some other characteristics animals of the zone, such as flamingoes, swans, ostriches, condors, cougars, among several others. And the national animals that appear in our great seal, are the deer and the condor.

In my free time, I enjoy doing several things, I like to hang out with my friends, listening music, lots of kind of music, ride my bike, taking pictures, playing football (favourite hobby), cooking, I´m not an expert at cooking but I always do my best, and some other things that I can´t remember... do you guys practice football, or does the same things that I do?

I´d like to know some things about you too, anything that you want to share with us, and we´ll be waiting for your movie!

    Take care guys, greetings! :)

  6. Hello students!
I'm very glad to answer those questions!

Answering to your first question, I think I want to be a teacher because it is a job that helps people to build their future, and while doing that you learn priceless things for your life. What do you think about the labor of teachers?

The weather in our city has been very cold these days. The average of the temperature is about 2°C. It's freezing! What about yours? Are you in spring, right?

The animals that you can find here are penguins, rheas, sheep, cóndor, guanacos, among several others. What kind of animals do you have there?

Well, talking about my hobbies, I enjoy editing videos on my computer, listening to music and having fun with my friends!

Well, I got to go now! Keep in touch!

    Diego.

  7. Hello again! =)

Well Molly about your first question I must be honest and confess you that becoming a teacher isn't the dream of my life but I consider this carrer as a good option in terms of the large variety of opportunities it offers when looking for a job, I actually love idioms in general and I would love to learn for instance French, Portuguese, Italian and others. You know, I like teaching, but it requires a lot work and dedication to become not only a teacher but a good one.

As my classmates have said before, the weather is terribly cold here and usually very windy too, that's ok with me though, because I love winter =)and the snow is of course its best characteristic.
What's the weather like in your country now? Is it too hot?

I can tell you that you can find in our country, as my classmate mentioned before animals such as the penguin, puma, ñandú, cóndor, sheep and others. The puma is gorgeous,I had the opportiunity once to meet one of them, I took him some photos with my cellphone and it was an amazing experience, they are very beautiful but also very agressive feline.

I have one favorite hobbie which is playing soccer, it's my passion. I practice this sport every Saturday, and I also go running on Saturdays and Sundays, it frees my mind and makes me feel full of energy too.
What about you guys? Do you enjoy practising any sport?

Well students, it's actually kind of late now so I'm going to bed.

    Keep in touch!
    Good luck, bye!
